Starting off
I created this MineCraft realm on the 8th, just to faff around at the weekend and try some of the newer stuff, its just a basic survival realm without any mods.
I came back on the 10th after my initial setup getting a small hut made and digging down to find basic resources and set up some Copper Golems.
I forgot to shut my front door and my Copper Golem decided to climb up and out of my underground section and decided to wander around my forest.
I figure I’d have to make a new one so I need to wait for some more pumpkins grow, luckily I had a bunch of seeds from my starter chest and just had to wait for them to grow.
Just Dig Down
I started digging further down in a random direction and found a a bunch of chasms that formed a cave.
There was a handful of resources and a whole load of redstone I’m yet to fully mine out yet.
Exploring this area, at the bottom was a huge lava pool that needed exploring with a whole load of redstone and a lot of tuft.
I noticed a diamond block on the roof which I had to build up to and figure out how to get this safely without me or the diamond dropping into the Lava.
I managed to get the diamond and it was back to the tuft.
I had a whole tuft section which was random lots of Iron Ore as well as an Iron Ore Block which I was able to mine out.
After getting the block and a whole load of tuft and dumped this all in my copper chest ready to get a new Golem.
My underground wheat is progressing and I had another pumpkin to carve. Saw some sheep having a swell time with a Zombie, Drowned, Creeper and Spider.
Time to make my new friend.
The new Copper Golem is hard at work.
I am making sure I close the door now, may add additional doors however I need to look into making the above ground base prettier.
Next issue is getting Wax for the golem, I like the green effect on the chests but I want to ensure my golem doesn’t turn into a statue.
